We love renovation projects that require a certain respect for the community. In the case of this 1920’s Rock Hall dwelling we maintained the scale of the house and its bungalow architectural lines.
The front porch was opened up and and a spacious screen porch was added to the back providing continuous space from the open kitchen and dining area. These additions were perfect for the scenic Swan Creek waterfront at the rear of the home and for the sprawling views of the Chesapeake Bay from the front porch.
This project was a complete interior tear out with kitchen remodeling additions and the construction of a new Carriage House.
The home features modern architectural elements while maintaining a nod to its past with its charm and historic waterman community scale.
